After reeling in a top-three overall class for 2012 and a strong 2011 class as well, Sean Miller and the Arizona Wildcats are looking to stay hot on the recruiting trail. While UA already has one player committed in guard Eric Cooper Jr., the 'Cats will be looking to add at least three more players to help fill the voids created by Solomon Hill and Kevin Parrom graduating.
ESPN recently released their top-100 list for the class of 2013, and Arizona is very involved with quite a few of the players ranked near the top of the order.
Aaron Gordon, the 4th best prospect of 2013, is wanted by just about every school in the country. It looks like Gordon will remain on the west coast for college, and most would tell you Washington and New Mexico lead for his recruitment. It will be a tough pull for Miller and Co. to lure Gordon to Tucson, but anything is possible in this day and age of recruiting.
Keith Frazier, No. 9 on ESPN's list, is likely going to end up being the best shooting guard in the class by the time it's all said and done. Arizona has been the rumored leader in his recruitment for months and he already visited campus for the Red-Blue Game last October.
Jabari Bird is ranked 11th and is believed to decide between Cal, Washington and Arizona. It will be a tough pull to get him out of the Bay Area, but UA has heavily recruited Bird for months now. Rondae Jefferson is another impressive wing for the class and has been hearing from Arizona in recent weeks.
Marcus Lee, a top-30 power forward, is another big name target for his size and athleticism. You will not find his name anywhere on top-100 lists, but Brian Bridgewater is an under-the-radar target that Sean Miller is reportedly very impressed with for his size and physicality.
There is no telling which players give their pledge to become Wildcats in the coming months, but you can bet Sean Miller will do everything in his power to lure them to Tucson. There are few coaches in America capable of recruiting at the level he does, and Miller knows it.
