Arizona State Vs. Stanford, Halftime Score: Sun Devils Trail 50-30 After Chasson Randle's 27 Point First Half

Both the Arizona State Sun Devils and Stanford Cardinal came into the Pac-12 tournament off of big wins against each of their respective rivals, looking to keep the good times rolling tonight at the Staples Center in Los Angels. But the Sun Devils simply came out sluggish and never recovered as the Cardinal lead big after the first half by the score of

Chasson Randle had an amazing first half, dropping 27 first half points to set new Pac-12 tournament record for points in a half, eclipsing WSU's Klay Thompson's mark of 25 last year. Randle was simply lights out, shooting 6-8 from the floor including 5-6 from downtown, as well as three steals. Aaron Bright had nine, while Dwight Powell five. Obviously it was all Randle for the Cardinal.

ASU finished on a 9-3 run to cut the lead to 20, but are seriously struggling thus far. Jordan Bachynski leads the way with eight points and while Jonathan Gilling and Chanse Creekmur had six. They've also committed 10 turnovers and had only nine rebounds in the entire half.

The Sun Devils are going to have to step it up big time if they want to overcome this big hole they've dug for themselves.
