Bracketology 2012: Arizona Wildcats Predicted To Be 13 Seed In Latest Predictions

Selection Sunday officially kicks tips off on CBS this evening at 6 p.m. (ET) and college hoops fans across the country will officially learn if they have more madness to come in march or if their favorite team will sit the big dance out. There are fans of teams who are lucky enough to be 100 percent certain that their favorite team will be playing in the NCAA Tournament, but there are a lot of fans who aren't so sure. The fans of those "bubble teams" will be waiting anxiously to hear the news.

One of those bubble teams could be considered the Arizona Wildcats, who in ESPN's Joe Lunardi considers a 13th seed in the West bracket. The Wildcats lost the Pac-12 championship to the Colorado Buffaloes by a score of 53-51 on Saturday afternoon and finished the season with a 23-11 overall record with a 12-6 conference record. The Wildcats' current RPI score is 73.

Arizona State Sun Devil fans won't need to tune in on Sunday as their 10-21 isn't even close to being good enough to let the team get a whiff March basketball action.

For more updates on the Wildcats, head to Arizona Desert Swarm, for more on the Sun Devils go to House of Sparky, and for more updates on Selection Sunday, follow SB Nation Arizona's StoryStream. Also, check in on SB Nation's College Basketball Hub for all the college hoops action you can handle.
