Arizona Wildcats Set To Unveil Nike Platinum Uniforms Against UCLA Bruins

The Arizona Wildcats basketball program has a very strong relationship with Nike and has worn their gear for decades. While they won't be confused with the Oregon Ducks anytime soon, the team will be unveiling a new uniform on Saturday afternoon against the UCLA Bruins. The game will be telecast nationally on CBS, with tipoff coming at noon in Tucson.

We have a few pictures of the Nike Platinum uniforms:

I like them personally, especially if they are only for one game. Some fans were not as thrilled about them as I was, which I can understand given that they are unlike any uniform the UA has ever worn before, but they could potentially be a big recruiting tool down the road. High school kids want to look good when they play and these platinum uniforms are very much in style right now.

You will be able to check them out for yourself this afternoon on CBS.
