Kaleb Tarczewski Sets Visits To Arizona And Kansas ... But Don't Hold Your Breath

Kaleb Tarczewski's recruitment has been a wild one. The five-star center out of New Hampshire was once believed to be a heavy lean towards Kansas, but Sean Miller and Arizona were able to make up ground late in make it a two horse race. Despite rumors flying around that Tarczewski was also considering Kentucky or North Carolina, those rumors have been dispelled.

There have been multiple reports in recent weeks about official visits, in-home visits, unofficial visits, and more. Literally nothing has happened in that span, until now. And if the latest report from Jeff Goodman is accurate, Tarczewski is going to make two official visits this month.

Kaleb Tarczewski will take official visits to Kansas on Oct. 14 and Arizona the following weekend - per his coach John Carroll.

Why these dates? Zeus will visit Lawrence on the 14th to see Late Night At The Phog (for the second year in a row) and the 21st to see the annual Red-Blue Game in Tucson. Both are great events and the crowd support will be high. A big weekend at either school could have a big impact in his recruitment.

All of this said, fans should probably avoid holding their breaths. While this is the first time his coach has confirmed the visits, Tarczewski has played his recruitment very close to the vest and reports have been inaccurate in the past. No one quite knows what the skilled center is planning and the visits should not be thought of as official until he actually steps foot on campus.
