Poll: Can Arizona Beat UConn And Advance To The Final Four?

No one thought they would get this far. Arizona was an eight and a half point underdog going into last night's game against Duke and most Wildcat fans I talk to weren't very confident about their team. Sure, everyone LOVES Derrick Williams, but all season long there was a lot of doubt about this year's team.

But here they are, in the Elite 8 of the 2011 NCAA Tournament, facing dynamic scoring guard Kemba Walker and the UConn Huskies. Once again the Wildcats are the underdog (+3) as face the country's 11th-ranked rebounding team on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Arizona time.

As great as Arizona played last night, it had the feel of one of those games where a team gets super hot and gets on a roll that no one can stop.

↵

The great Coach K felt that too,

↵

"That's what happens in sports, sometimes one team gets more aggressive than the other. I do think they saw shots going in and we didn't see shots going in. Even free-throws -- we didn't -- they just got on a real roll. When you get on a roll, you have more energy than the other guy who doesn't get on a roll."

Can they do it again? Can they match the intensity and incredible roll and avoid an expected emotional let down after knocking off the giant Blue Devils?
