Isaiah Thomas may not have been named the Pac-10 Player of the Year, but when it counted most, he delivered. Thomas lifted the Washington Huskies over the Arizona Wildcats with a buzzer-beating jump shot in overtime to give his team the 77-75 win and the Pac-10 Tournament Title. Thomas finished with 28 points on 10-16 shooting.
Arizona's star, Derrick Williams, played well himself (24 points, 11 rebounds) and looked like he had won the game in regulation when he completed a three-point "And-1" play to give the Wildcats a three-point lead with just 22 seconds in the game. But the Huskies hit huge shots to earn the title, including three, three-pointers in the final 32 seconds of the game with the final one by C.J. Wilcox to tie the game and send it into an extra period.
In overtime, it was Arizona's Kevin Parrom who hit a clutch three to tie the game with seconds to go before Thomas won the game with an isolation pull-up jump shot that was well-defended.
