Arizona Wildcats Sell Out Game Against ASU Without Any Students

Fans in Tucson love their college basketball. It has been that way since the 1980s and will continue to be that way for the foreseeable future. The Wildcats sell out most of their home games, although it can be a challenge at times when students are not on campus because of winter break. With the Zona Zoo occupying 4,000 seats, it's easy to see why filling their spot is not always easy.

The McKale Center will be packed on Saturday afternoon as the Arizona St. Sun Devils come to town. As of Thursday, all tickets had been sold. That's 14,600 people, with absolutely no help from the student body. That's the sign of a basketball powerhouse.

Pretty cool if you ask me. The Arizona-ASU rivalry is one of the most heated in the nation and the wild football game from a few months ago took the rivalry to yet another level. The Sun Devils should prepare for a raucous atmosphere on Saturday afternoon.

For those of you still looking for tickets, you may have a chance before the game with scalpers, but be prepared to pay much, much more than you normally would.
