Arizona vs. Clemson Preview: Wildcats Return Home To Face ACC Foe

The Wildcats are looking to build off a tough loss to Florida and they welcome in a quality opponent in the Clemson Tigers to McKale Center on Saturday.

The Arizona Wildcats will return home on Saturday afternoon and will welcome in the Clemson Tigers, who are making their way across the country for a Pac12/ACC showdown. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 4-3, although their three losses -- albeit to likely non-tournament teams -- were by a combined seven points. The program is led by head coach Brad Brownell, who enters his second season in Clemson after taking his team to the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2010-2011.

Andre Young, a senior point guard, is the unquestioned leader of this team and leads with 14 points-per-game and logs nearly 35 minutes a night. Milton Jennings, a 6'9 forward, is a bit inconsistent at times, but is second on the Tigers with just over 10 points a game. Tanner Smith is a bit of a do-everything guy, while big man Devin Booker does a solid job down low in the paint.

This Clemson team will not blow anyone's socks off with their stats and losses to South Carolina, Costal Carolina and Charleston do not look good on the resumé, but this is a quality, veteran team capable of pulling the upset on the road. Arizona needs to get off to a strong start and avoid turning the ball over, which has plagued them seemingly all season.

Start Time: 4:00 p.m. ET / 2:00 p.m. in Tucson

TV Coverage: Fox Sports Net will air the game nationally; fans can find the game televised locally on FSN Arizona.
