Arizona Vs. Louisiana Lafayette Final Score: Wildcats Hold On For 45-37 Win

The University of Arizona Wildcats managed to hold on for a 45-37 win over the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns to finish their season with a record of 4-8.

The game against the visiting 8-2 Sun Belt team was a high-scoring affair. Louisiana-Lafayette picked up the first score of the game with an 11 yard Harry Peoples rushing touchdown in the first quarter. Arizona's Taimi Tutogi tied the game with a short rushing touchdown to open the second quarter, but the Cajuns went back on top 13-7 on a touchdown pass from Blaine Gautier to Alonzo Harris.

With just over three minutes left in the first half, Nick Foles connected with Juron Criner on a nine yard pass to put the Wildcats on top 14-13. Arizona would not surrender the lead for the remainder of the game, despite Louisiana scoring three touchdowns in the third quarter.

Quarterback Nick Foles, who was questionable heading into game time, ended up with a tremendous performance to wrap up his season. He finished the game 33-for-43 with 352 passing yards, three touchdowns and a fourth quarter interception that was returned for a Cajuns touchdown. Criner led all Wildcats receivers with 129 yards on nine catches and two touchdowns.
