Arizona Vs. SDSU Score: Aztecs Ride Hot Outside Shooting To Victory Over Wildcats, 61-57

This was not the best week for the Arizona Wildcats. After losing to Mississippi State in the 2K Sports Classic Finals, Arizona came home and were pretty much shot out of the gym by the San Diego St. Aztecs.

Arizona couldn't get anything going outside and perhaps relied too heavily on the three pointer, shooting five for 26 on Wednesday night and 33% from the field overall. San Diego State was more balanced, including hitting two-thirds of the threes and 45% from the field. Chase Tapley led SDSU with 17 points and James Rahon chipped in 13. Solomon Hill had a near double-double, and freshman Josiah Turner and Nick Johnson each had ten of their own, but he and many other Arizona Wildcats struggled to find their shot all night long.

With Cal's epic loss to Missouri in Kansas City last night, it's likely there will be no ranked teams left in the Pac-12 next Monday. Arizona will still have a few more stiff non-conference tests when they take on Florida and Gonzaga.
