This is a big conference matchup for both the Arizona Wildcats and Washington Huskies. Let's take a look at a few keys to the game and what to watch for:
The Running Games:
Chris Polk is an animal for the Huskies. He's big, fast and makes the correct read while carrying the ball. If Arizona is able to at least slightly slow down Polk, it creates a lot of problems for Washington. If they cannot slow him down, it's going to be a long, long day for the Wildcats.
For Arizona, it's all about building off their success on the ground the last two weeks. The "full-house" formation has worked well and opposing defenses have not had much luck stopping it. If the 'Cats can run the ball effectively, they'll have a chance tonight.
Arizona's Depleted Secondary:
Adam Hall and Jonathan McKnight are out for the season. Shaquille Richardson is out for Saturday's game because of a suspension. Will Trevin Wade, Robert Golden and Marquis Flowers be enough to slow down the UW passing attack? Will they be able to contain Chris Polk should he break into the secondary? My guess is no, but you never know.
Jason Bonano's Kicking Success:
After being one of the worst kicking teams in the nation for nearly two months, Jason Bonano was perfect in his first start as place-kicker against UCLA. Heck, he was even named the Pac-12 Special Teams Player of the Week. In a loud, hostile atmosphere, will Bonano be able to come through again? Arizona cannot afford empty trips to the red zone.
