It has been a rough year for Arizona football. Not just a rough season, but a rough year. Mike Stoops has been fired, the program is nearing its one-year anniversary since their last victory over an FBS team and the defense has been torn apart by injuries.
This all being said, UA fans need to fill Arizona Stadium on Thursday night. Take the family, tailgate, cheer loudly and have a good time. The players (and especially the seniors) have had a rough last few years in Tucson and a big crowd turnout would do nothing but raise their spirits for a nationally televised game.
For some of these guys, they have just a few competitive football games left in their careers. We need to support them, regardless of the team's record.
Tickets are still remaining and can be purchased here or at the McKale Center ticket office. They aren't very expensive and if you are still looking to buy tickets for Saturday's Red-Blue basketball game, one can get them for just $4 if you combine it with UCLA football tickets.
It should be a beautiful night for football and you may even get the chance to make awkward faces at the ESPN cameras. What more could one ask for? A win on Thursday night? That would certainly be nice as well.
