Alamo Bowl Projection: Arizona Wildcats Headed To Alamo Bowl, Oklahoma State Cowboys Await

The Arizona Wildcats will play in the Alamo Bowl against the Oklahoma St. Cowboys, according to several sources. The Holiday Bowl already made their selections of the Washington Huskies and the Nebraska Cornhuskers, leaving these two schools as the only possible options.

The Wildcats have lost four straight games after starting off the season 7-1, and the Cowboys finished their regular season with a loss to the Oklahoma Sooners. The Alamo Bowl is slated for a December 31st kickoff, and tickets should move quickly for this event seeing that the Cowboys fans travel well and San Antonio is a short trip away.

Arizona will need to play much better than they have in their last four games, increasing the defensive pressure and running the ball with more authority. Coach Mike Stoops and the Wildcats need to look back at their signature victory over Iowa in September to remember what winning football truly looks like against stiff competition.
