After a strong victory over USC, Oregon has overtaken Auburn in this week's BCS rankings. The Auburn Tigers and the Oregon Ducks are both locks at the top of the rankings for as long as they continue to win. Oregon's .9777 ranking is closely followed by Auburn at .9599.
After Oregon and Auburn, there were more shakeups. TCU moved ahead of Boise State, earning third placed in the BCS poll. Utah moved up to fifth place, and this is the first time in BCS history that 3 non-automatic qualifying schools have ever been in the top five at the same time.
Despite a road victory over UCLA, the Arizona Wildcats stayed at 15th overall in the BCS rankings. The Stanford Cardinal find themselves ranked 13th, just ahead of Michigan State. The Spartans fell a drastic nine places down the rankings after getting beaten handily by Iowa.
