USA Struggles Early; Overcomes Brazil 80 - 69

For all the hullaballoo about Kobe Bryant's "Dream Team" comments last week, the U.S.A. sure didn't do itself any favors to dispel the better team myth in the first quarter of an exhibition game against Brazil.

The national team had to overcome a poor first quarter showing where they trailed 27-17. Team U.S.A. clamped down on defense, which led to multiple steals en route to a 16-2 run that punctuated the quarter. Brazil was outscored 20-5 in the second quarter as Team U.S.A. went up by singled digits by halftime.

From there on out, the biggest news story of the day was that the First Lady denied President Obama on the "Kiss Cam", The President even weighed in with ESPN's Chris Palmer on Bryant's statement from last week.

Lebron James led Team U.S.A. with 30 points. Kevin Durant added 11 points.
