James Harden (With His Beard) Is 6th Sun Devil To Play In NBA Finals

The NBA Finals are set with the Oklahoma CIty Thunder and the Miami Heat set to battle for a world championship starting Tuesday in Oklahoma City. It is the first time that the Thunder (since they became the Thunder) will be in the Finals. Former Arizona State Sun Devil James Harden is a member of the the Thunder and is also going to be in the NBA Finals for the first time.

↵

In fact, Harden is the sixth former Sun Devil to play in the NBA Finals.

↵

Of the previous five, four have gotten rings. Byron Scott, Eddie House, Lionel Hollins and Mark Landsberger each have rings. Only House appeared in less than two finals. Dennis Hamilton was the sole Sun Devil to not get a championship ring.

↵

Harden and his teammates Kevin Durant and Brian Westbrook, will face the super team Miami Heat with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. It is an NBA Finals full of stars.

↵

But if there is one thing that history has shown us, it is that either the Thunder and Harden will be crowned NBA champions, or they will be back in the near future to win it then.
