Brock Haman Transfers To ASU From Arkansas

Arizona State is quickly filling their team in with all the best players from the local high school powerhouse Saguaro High. It's important for ASU to get the players they need, and landing local top recruits is huge to keep them competitive.

This time they got a player who already made a choice of school but decided to look around after redshirting his first year. Brock Haman will be making the move from the Arkansas Razorbacks back to Tempe to play for the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Here are some more details on Haman from the press release announcing his transfer to Arizona State.

Haman (6-3, 230), who will be listed at linebacker, redshirted at Arkansas last season after undergoing foot surgery in the preseason.

Haman was ranked as the No. 13 overall recruit in the state of Arizona by Rivals.com in 2010. He was ranked by AzProspects.com as the No. 2 linebacker recruit in the state. In a senior season cut short by injury, Haman made 19 tackles, including three sacks, for head coach John Sanders' Saguaro High School team that brought home the 2010 4A Division I state title. Scout.com ranked Haman as the No. 61 tight end in the country at the conclusion of his high school career.

Haman will be the seventh Saguaro player on the ASU football roster, joining talents like D.J. Foster and Corey Adams on the squad.
