The ASU basketball team is losing a player from its squad just a couple of days after it finished its season. Freshman Chanse Creekmur is leaving the basketball program to pursue a football career and maybe play both football and basketball, according to a report by Arizona Republic writer Doug Haller.
↵Creekmur started 13 games this season for the Sun Devils. He was considered a shooter, but had his struggles behind the three-point line, shooting only 36 percent from behind the line. His season high was 18 points and scored 13 points in the Devils' final game of the season, their loss to Stanford in the Pac-12 Tournament.
↵He played quarterback for his high school in Iowa and was recruited by some small schools. He intends on transferring to a small school to play that again and even play two sports.
↵As for his leaving the program, it is yet another transfer by a young underclassman under head coach Herb Sendek.
