NFL Draft 2012: Brock Osweiler Invited To Green Room On Draft Day

Brock Osweiler is one of the more interesting quarterback prospects in recent years. Armed with the size, strength and mobility to be successful at the next level, some have presented serious concern with his decision making and ability to lead a franchise for the next decade.

While most have Osweiler projected for the second or third round -- and either the fourth or fifth QB selected overall -- that did not stop the NFL from handing the former Sun Devil an invitation to the Green Room on draft day.

(That's the same room where Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Matt Kalil and others will sit.)

It may be a long wait for Osweiler, but he was thrilled to receive the invitation on Friday.

This is a pretty great honor for Osweiler and really does seem improbable when you consider where the kid was just a few years ago. His transition to the NFL will not be easy, but he appears to have a great work ethic and will likely be taken by a team that employs a West Coast Offense, which should be favorable for him.
