Arizona State Makes Bay Area Road Trip To Face Stanford, Cal

The Sun Devils Travel to the Bay Area for set of matchups with Stanford and Cal this weekend.

The Arizona State Sun Devils (7-14, 3-6 Pac-12) finally got out of their recent funk against the Washington State Cougars in their last time now, and now turn their attention to the Bay Area as they get set to take on the Stanford Cardinal and California Golden Bears this weekend.

The Devils hit Maples Pavilion first in Palo Alto Thursday at 7 PM to take on the Cardinal (15-6, 5-4 Pac-12), a team that ASU has struggled with in recent memory. Stanford owns the 41-30 advantage over ASU in the all-time series, dating all the way back to 1957. The Card have won six of the last 10 and 22 of the last 28 meetings dating back to 1998 as well, meaning history is not on the Devils side here.

Then they head up to Berkley to take on the Golden Bears (17-5, 7-2 Pac-12) Saturday for a 2 PM showdown at Hass Pavilion, trying to topple the top team in the Pac-12 this season. This is an important stretch that the Devils can get back to some winning ways, and make a nice run before the start of the Pac-12 tournament.

Radio coverage is as follows:

Feb. 2 at Stanford/7 p.m. PTSirius 128/XM 193

Feb. 4 at California/2 p.m. PT(Sirius TBD/XM TBD)
