National Signing Day 2012: ASU Football's Recruiting Class

The first recruiting class for newly hired head coach Todd Graham has been a surprise. With the way the firing of Dennis Erickson and the hiring of Graham went, most figured that the Arizona State Sun Devil football recruiting class of 2012 with be almost a lost cause.

Almost to the end of National Signing Day, and ASU has landed some solid prospects for the program. They landed the most highly touted prep player in the state of Arizona in D.J. Foster and it looks like Graham is going to be working hard to keep Arizona prep players in-state.

Here is the list of recruits as of Wednesday afternoon:

Darwin Rogers, TE, Arizona Western College

Easton Wahlstrom, LS, Scottsdale, AZ

Jake Sheffield, DT, Palm Desert, CA

Evan Goodman, OT, Lakeland, FL

William McGehee, OL, Corsicana, TX

Oliver Johnson, DB, Woodland Hills, CA

Carlos Mendoza, LB, Westlake Village, CA

Kody Kohl, TE, Gilbert, AZ

Terrell Davis, RB, Canada

Stephon McCray, Fresno, CA

D.J. Foster, RB, Scottsdale, AZ

Steffon Martin, LB, Arizona Western College

Josiah Blandin, WR, Long Beach, CA

Richard Smith, WR, Long Beach, CA

Salamo Fiso, LB, Long Beach, CA

Alonzo Agwuenu, WR, Chino Hills, CA

Mike Pennel, DL, Aurora, CO

Milo Jordan, DL, Corona, CA

Chris Young, DB, Yuma, AZ

There are two notable names left to watch out for. 4-star receiving recruit Darreus Rodgers is expected to choose USC, but still has ASU on his list. Cornerback Randall Goforth is selecting either ASU or UCLA. That decsion is said to be likely to go either way.
