National Signing Day 2012: Arizona Prospect Andrus Peat Announcement Time, Predictions

The 2012 National Signing Day is here and there are quite a few local Arizona prospects looking to continue their careers at the next level. One of the better prospects in the entire state is offensive lineman Andrus Peat, who plays at Corona Del Sol up in Tempe. He is ranked as the No. 32 overall prospect in the country by Rivals and had more than 20 scholarship offers from around the country.

More: Let's listen in on a recruitment falling apart, shall we?

The three schools reportedly in the final mix for Peat are the Stanford Cardinal, Nebraska Cornhuskers and USC Trojans. The Florida State Seminoles were also involved, although they were likely too far away from home to get a serious look. Most experts and recruiting gurus would tell you they believe Peat will end up either with the Cardinal or Cornhuskers, although some believe the Trojans are a dark horse.

His final decision will be nationally televised on ESPNU at 11:35 a.m. MT. He will be joined by his friends, family and teammates on Wednesday as he signs his National Letter of Intent. We wish the best of luck to Andrus wherever he decides to continue his football career.
