The SB Nation BlogPoll for Week 5 has been released, and while little has changed at the top of the poll, the Arizona State Sun Devils snagged a few votes and find themselves just shy of the Top 25.
Alabama hung on to the No. 1 spot after downing Ole Miss 33-14 in Week 5. No. 2 Oregon stayed put after destroying Washington State 51-26, and Florida State remained in the No. 3 slot. No. 4 LSU and No. 5 Georgia retained their positions in the Week 4 poll.
Arizona State, coming off a 27-17 win over Cal, received eight votes in the Week 5 poll, the Sun Devils' highest ranking by a voter had them in the No. 12 spot, but a majority of the rest of the team's votes received were between No. 20 and No. 25.
After their 38-35 loss to No. 18 Oregon State, Arizona failed to receive a vote in the poll this week after gaining votes in each of the last three weeks, and are out of the BlogPoll Top 25 for the first time since Week 1.
