Devin Fuller is the top-target for the Arizona Wildcats in 2012 and his recruitment has been something to behold in recent weeks. Once believed to be a heavy lean towards Rutgers, Rich Rodriguez and the coaching staff were able to get an official visit and keep the UA in the race. With RU head coach Greg Schiano heading to Tampa Bay to coach the Buccaneers, some believed Arizona was the new team to beat.
While it's always fun to speculate, Fuller has not made any decisions, according to this latest update from NJSports.com.
As speculation runs rampant about where Devin Fuller will play college football, the Fuller camp said Friday afternoon that a decision had not been made and that no school had been informed of the star quarterback's destination or which schools he might be favoring.
Arizona, Nebraska, Rutgers, TCU and UCLA are Fuller's finalists after the Old Tappan star completed his fifth and final visit, to Arizona, on Wednesday.
Twitter nation is full of suggestions that Greg Schiano's decision to leave Rutgers to coach the Tampa Bay Bucs has made one school or another the front runner, but the Fuller family says none of those schools has been told a word about the choice, which is scheduled to be announced Sunday.
There is no denying that Fuller would be a perfect fit for RichRod's read-option offensive attack and his highlight videos are something to behold. The Wildcats had a ton of ground to make up, but the departure of a head coach may just be big enough to send Fuller to Tucson. Stay tuned, folks.
