Anthony Robles To Appear On Jay Leno's Tonight Show Wednesday

It's been a whirlwind week for Anthony Robles -- just a week after winning the both the 2011 Jimmy V Award for Perseverance and 2011 Best Male Athlete with a Disability Award at the ESPYs on July 13, Robles will make a national television appearance on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Per the press release:

Robles will join actor Daniel Craig (Cowboys and Aliens, Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace) and musical guest Gavin DeGraw on the show. This will be the second time Robles and Leno have been on camera together in the past week as Leno introduced and presented the Jimmy V Award to Robles last week in Los Angeles.

This appearance is another nice feather in Robles' cap after capping off his undefeated senior season by defeating Iowa's Matt McDonough in the NCAA wrestling finals of the 125-pound division. Robles was unstoppable on the mat and has been a public relations dream come true, proving that perseverance can pay off despite all the odds.
