Brock Osweiler Shows Class, Thanks Dennis Erickson On Facebook

ASU quarterback Brock Osweiler is, in addition to being six-foot-eight, a class guy and shows outstanding leadership potential. Scratch that, he's already an outstanding leader who should only get better with time.

Osweiler was one of the top ten best quarterbacks in college football this year in his first as a full-time starter and will only improve more should he return for his senior season. He's is strong, mobile and accurate and makes good decisions in the pocket.

But what really sets Brock apart is his maturity and leadership. Plus he's really tall (6-foot-8 in fact).

Osweiler deserves a lot of praise for leading the offseason work that helped propel the team to a fast start. When the bottom fell out of the season, it was the defense that failed while the offense continued to light up the scoreboard.

↵

The Sun Devils scored at least 29 points in all but two games and set several offensive records thanks in large part to Brock's play. (Also, he's tall and likes basketball.)

↵

Owseiler will give the next head coach at Arizona State University a head start and the opportunity to walk into competitive situation from Day One. And as this message on his Facebook page shows, Brock will handle the situation with class.

Thank you to Coach Erickson for all of the guidance and tools he has instilled upon me over the last 3 years, here at ASU. I've grown into the man I am today due to my experiences as a proud Sun Devil. I wish nothing but the best to Coach E on all of his future life endeavors.
