Upsets galore in college football in Week 12 have decimated the BCS standings and the AP and USA Today College Football Coaches Poll will certainly reflect that. The rankings reflect the defeat of previously undefeated Oklahoma State Cowboys who fell from the no. 2 spot in the polls to sixth after a stunning overtime loss to Iowa State.

That wasn't the only top-ranked team in college football to fall this week. The Oklahoma Sooners, previously no. 5, fell to a very good Baylor Bears team. The Sooners are now ranked no. 11 in the USA Today Coaches poll. The AP poll will be released later on Sunday and we will provide those results immediately after they are available.

The fun didn't stop there as the door to the BCS Championship game that opened for the Oregon Ducks was slammed shut by Matt Barkley and his USC Trojans who have come on strong late in the season but are ineligible for postseason play due to sanctions. Oregon is now ranked ninth after snapping a 21-game win streak at Autzen.

Even the Clemson Tigers (fell from 8 to 17) were embarrassed 37-13 by N.C. State. That makes a total of four teams in the top ten that lost in this week of upsets.

At the top of the heap, the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide both easily rolled over their cupcake opponents (Mississippi and Georgian Southern) and seem headed for a rematch in the BCS Championship Game. But first LSU has to get through Arkansas next week and Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. The fun is far from over.

Here's the top five from the USA Today Coaches Poll with the full ranking here. We will post the AP rankings shortly.

LSU (1), Alabama (2), Arkansas (3), Virginia Tech (4), Stanford (5).
