The Arizona St. Sun Devils are a distant third behind the Oregon Ducks and the Stanford Cardinal in the Pac-12 BCS rankings, but they're in there after a series of upsets helped bring them up. The bye week was the best thing to happen to them, as ASU came from the periphery of the rankings to jump all the way up to #21 in the newest BCS standings without having to play a single snap.
Arizona State could be poised to keep on leaping up as the rest of their schedule is fairly simple. With USC and Oregon out of the way, the Sun Devils don't have many difficult contests remaining. Colorado, UCLA, Arizona, Washington State and Cal are all on the docket, all of which should be fairly winnable football games. Their toughest test would come in the Pac-12 Championship game.
