College football in Arizona took a turn for the worse in November. Going into this dreadful month, Arizona was 7-1 and had a realistic, though outside chance at a Rose Bowl berth. ASU was 4-4, coming off a shutout victory over Washington State at homecoming. Both teams had reason for optimism.
↵The month of pilgrims, turkeys and giving thanks has taken the wind out of the sails. Combined, ASU and UofA are 0-4 in November, losing in mostly excruciating ways: ASU losing to USC on a missed field goal, the Wildcats falling short to the Trojans at home, and Stanford coming up with wins against the schools as well.
↵So now that both teams are taking the weekend off, does anyone care? Are you glad that they have a break, giving the opportunity for their fans to recuperate from the trauma that has been inflicted?
↵I for one could use one Saturday without Sun Devil tragedy. Lets just hope the basketball team can beat UAB today.
