Arizona Wildcats running back Ka'Deem Carey and Arizona St. Sun Devils defensive tackle Will Sutton were named to The Associated Press All-American team on Tuesday.
Carey, a 5'10 sophomore, led the nation in rushing with 146.42 yards per game and is currently ranked second in the nation in total rushing yards with 1,757. He can add to that total when the Wildcats take on the Nevada Wolf Pack in the Gildan New Mexico Bowl on Saturday. The explosive young running back has also scored 21 touchdowns in 2012, and joins Wisconsin Badgers senior running back Montee Ball in the first team backfield.
Sutton was named Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year after tallying 10.5 sacks and 20 tackles for a loss for the Sun Devils in 2012. The 6'1 junior had an impressive season despite missing the Sun Devils' game against UCLA and most of the game against the Oregon Ducks. He joins Utah's Star Lotulelei as the first team's defensive tackles.
