Arizona vs. UCLA: Rich Rodriguez says Brett Hundley is like a tight end

UCLA's freshman quarterback will provide a unique challenge for Arizona on Saturday.

Arizona visits UCLA in an important Pac-12 South battle on Saturday, and Bruins quarterback Brett Hundley is unlike any that Wildcats head coach Rich Rodriguez has ever seen. Hundley has been the catalyst for an improved UCLA offense this season, as the freshman has been a thread on the ground and through the air.

Rodriguez was asked about Hundley after practice on Tuesday, and he believes the quarterback's size is more befitting of a different offensive position, via

"I remember him coming out of high school and that's what you want them to look like. He looks like one of those tight ends we are playing against all the time - big, strong, physical athlete. I don't know if I've ever had a quarterback that big."

Hundley has completed 67 percent of his passes for 2190 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while also rushing for 267 yards and five scores on the ground.

Limiting Hundley will be important for the Wildcats, as they try to sieze an opportunity to take control of the Pac-12 South division. With a win over UCLA and a loss from USC against Oregon, Arizona would control their own destiny for the conference title game.

The two teams meet at 7:30 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
