Arizona vs. USC: Wildcats offense could be in for big day

Arizona's and USC's offenses have been great this season. Is either team going to be able to stop them?

The Arizona Wildcats have a chance to become relevant in the football world once again on Saturday. With the No. 9 USC Trojans coming to town, Matt Scott, Ka'Deem Carey and Co. could make a big statement in the Pac-12 South. The Trojans are very talented, although they have yet to play up to expectations this year.

SB Nation's Arizona blog, AZ Desert Swarm, thinks the Wildcats will pull the upset in Tucson this weekend with a 35-28 win.

Believe it or not, I am not simply making a homer pick right now. USC has won their share of games this year, but they have not really looked as impressive as people expected. The season has begun to take a toll on them and their lack of depth, I believe, is starting to hurt them. I am not sure they will be able to consistently stop Arizona's offense enough to win this game. Home field, I also believe, will play a big factor in this game.

It's tough to imagine either of these defenses coming away with many stops this weekend. Both offenses are loaded with playmakers, especially at the wide receiver and tailback positions. Whichever team can win the turnover and special teams battle will likely come out on top.

Kickoff from Arizona Stadium is set for 12:30 p.m. PT. The game will be televised on ABC or ESPN2.
