Diamondbacks Vs. Cubs: Starting Lineups, Pregame Notes And More

The Arizona Diamondbacks have now concluded their road schedule for the 2012 season and will end their year in the friendly confines of Chase Field. The likelihood that the team makes the postseason is almost none, but that won't stop them from playing hard during every game. That starts tonight as the D-Backs host the Cubs with Ian Kennedy taking the mound for Arizona.

The Diamondbacks find themselves six games out of a Wild Card spot behind three other teams including the NL West rival Dodgers. With only six games remaining, the Diamondbacks, barring an absolute miracle, will be watching the postseason from their couches. If either the Diamondbacks lose or the St. Louis Cardinals win tonight, Arizona will be mathematically eliminated from postseason play.

Here are your starting lineups for tonight's game:

Cubs:

David DeJesus (CF)

Dave Sappelt (RF)

Anthony Rizzo (1B)

Alfonso Soriano (LF)

Starlin Castro (SS)

Luis Valbuena (3B)

Travis Wood (P, 6-12, 4.23)

Diamondbacks:
