Diamondbacks Vs. Braves: Hudson To DL, Stephen Drew Activated, Corbin Called Up, Starting Lineups

The Arizona Diamondbacks will try to even the series against the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday, but they will have a slightly different roster and lineup to do so. Shortstop Stephen Drew makes his 2012 debut, having been activated from the disabled list. Pitcher Daniel Hudson, removed from his start on Tuesday with an injury, was placed on the disabled list.

The team also made two other roster moves. Reliever Jonathan Albaladejo was optioned back to Triple-A Reno and left-handed pitcher Patrick Corbin was recalled. Corbin will be used out of the bullpen for now. Josh Collmenter will start in Hudson's spot for now, at least until after the All-Star Break.

The team elected to go with an extra position player for Wednesday's game with Drew's return. However, with Trevor Bauer slated to start on Thursday and still in the minor league roster, there will be a roster move forthcoming.
