The Arizona D-backs have always strived to place an emphasis on customer service at Chase Field. While attendance had dropped a bit in recent years as the team struggled, they saw a big increase in 2011 as they won the National League West. Now, as the regular season arrives on Friday afternoon as the club welcomes in the Giants to Phoenix, fans will get to see first-hand the new upgrades made to their ballpark.

"Much like we feel we improved the club on the field after winning our division last year, we felt it was equally as important to continue to improve the experience off the field," said D-backs' President & CEO Derrick Hall. "We strive to provide our fans with the best entertainment in all of sports at a great value and we're looking forward to seeing them at Chase Field."

Among the food improvements for fans to eat: Meatball Mania, which is a skewer of six meatballs that come in chicken, beef and pork flavors. They will be served with various dipping sauces. Sounds pretty great. Other new options include vegan choices in the forms of tacos and burritos, and fans will also see increased dessert options at stands all across the park.

The D-backs have provided fans with free wi-fi the last two years -- with pretty poor coverage, if I do say so myself -- and they have vowed to improve the signal strength. Fans will also now be able to order food and beverages through their smartphones using the MLB At-Bat application in various seating sections.

For you ladies out there: PINK apparel, the very popular Victoria's Secret fashion line of clothing, will now be sold in the team stores. Look for VS inspired shirts, shorts and hats to be for sale.
