VIDEO: Arizona Diamondbacks, NL West Champions, Go Swimming After Win Over Giants

A season of improbable outcomes reached a head on Friday night as the Arizona Diamondbacks won the NL West for the first time since 2007. No one believed it could happen, but the team always knew what they had was special.

After defeating the San Francisco Giants in front of a crowd of over 42,000 fans in Chase Field, the team sprinted across the outfield, climbed the fence and jumped into the pool. That's right, the team celebrated by going swimming... in their uniforms.

Check out the video after the jump.

This is a team that truly enjoys playing together, a cohesive unit that shows very little signs of animosity. One can only imagine what the team did after the cameras went off, but it's obvious that they went streaking across the city.

What an amazing way to celebrate the victory. The Diamondbacks have banded together like brothers and have reached the promised land. The only thing left to do is lock up homefield advantage in the NLDS -- if that happens, I expect to see the team go swimming once more.
