The Arizona Diamondbacks released their 2012 regular-season schedule today, chock full of interesting matchups including opening and closing the season at Chase Field, three sets of 10-game homestands, not to mention 31 of their final 37 games against NL West foes, including 11 of the final 14 home games. So get you popcorn ready D'back fans, it's setting up to be a great season.

The D-backs' will open their 2012 campaign at home for the sixth time in franchise history on April 6 at 2:10 p.m. against the San Francisco Giants, part of a 3 game set before heading out for a 6 game trip to San Diego and Colorado. Arizona will conclude their regular season with a 6-game homestand against the Cubs and Rockies starting September 28 thru October 3.

As for the Diamondbacks Interleague play, they start with a 3-game road trip against the Kansas City Royals May 18-20; the hosts of the 2012 All-Star Game. They then will host the A's June 8-10 then two, 3-game sets at the Texas Rangers, and Los Angeles Angels before finishing Interleague action against the Mariners, June 18-20.
