Mark Grace Arrested For DUI, Impaired To 'The Slightest Degree'

Former Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago Cubs first baseman and current Fox Sports color analyst Mark Grace was reportedly arrested for DUI in Scottsdale, AZ on Memorial Day. According to the report in the Arizona Republic, he was pulled over around 1:00 a.m. on May 30.

According to he police report he was stopped after he made a wide right turn and was seen weaving within his lane. He didn't have his wallet or driver's license with him but told police that he had a few drinks. He was taken to the police station and had his blood drawn.

Grace was arrested "on suspicion of driving with a blood-alcohol of more than the legal limit of 0.08 percent and being DUI-impaired to the slightest degree, according to police reports."

Grace was a member of the 2001 World Series Championship team and played in Chicago from 1988-2000. He retired as a player in 2003 and became the primary TV analyst for Fox Sports Arizona broadcasts of the Arizona Diamondbacks games. Grace also regularly works nationally televised games for Fox Sports.

The Arizona Diamondbacks or Fox Sports Arizona have yet to provide any comment on the report.
