Diamondbacks Dominance Against Top Teams Looks To Continue In Rockies Series

How about them Diamondbacks scratching out a home win over the team with the best record in the NL West? Good on you if you predicted Henry Blanco, Esmerling Vasquez and Joe Saunders who be the heroes of a game played by a lineup AZ Snake Pit called the "B Team". The Diamondbacks with the win improved to 8-8 at home and for whatever reason continue to play well against good teams. They sport an 8-5 record against the three teams with the best records they've faced (Reds, Phillies and Rockies).

The series continues Wednesday with Barry Enright (1-2, 5.76) facing Jhoulys Chacin (3-2, 2.91 ERA). These D-backs starters have been inconsistent all season and Enright is no exception. He gave up five runs to the Mets followed by a great two-run, 6.2 inning outing against the Cubs in his last start. Which Barry will show up tonight? If it's not the good one, the D-backs will have little chance against Chacin and the Rockies.

Game time is 6:40 p.m. with the broadcast on Fox Sports Arizona and the game thread at AZ Snake Pit.
