Arizona Diamondbacks Schedule: Enright Faces Cubs At Wrigley

The Arizona Diamondbacks fell to 1-2 on the young season with yesterday's loss to the Chicago Cubs. The series continues today with another day game at Wrigley Field. The ivy might not be in full bloom yet, but baseball is being played and that's all that matters.

Today's match-up features D-backs fourth starter, Barry Enright against Andrew Cashner for the Cubs. The fiery redhead went 6-7 with a 3.91 ERA for the D-backs after a mid-summer call up. He won a job on the staff with a solid spring. Cashner will be making his first major league start today for the Cubs after spending last season in the pen.

Shortstop Stephen Drew (ab strain) made his first appearance in yesterday's game when he drew a walk in the ninth inning as a pinch-hitter. He should be getting closer to getting his job back in the field but his replacement, Willie Bloomquist, isn't going to go quietly back to the bench.

Bloomquist lead off yesterday's game with a homerun and is now hitting .357 and has no errors in the field.

Here's today's lineup as tweeted by the team:

Bloomquist SS, Johnson 2B, Upton RF, Montero C, Young CF, Miranda 1B, Roberts 3B, Parra LF, Enright RHP

First pitch is scheduled for 11:20 a.m. local time with the game broadcast here in Phoenix on Fox Sports AZ and 620 KTAR radio. For more on the game and to discuss the Diamondbacks with other fans, visit AZ Snakepit.
