Arizona Diamondbacks infielder Ryan Roberts had himself quite the year during the 2011 MLB season, but isn't going to stop there. Roberts has been selected to represent MLB and the MLBPA for the 2011 Taiwan All-Star Series this November against the Chinese Taipai national team, the only D-back to receive the honor.↵
The series is planned for five games to be played between November 1st-6th in three different cities - New Taipei City (XinZhuang Stadium) on November 1st, Taichung (Intercontinental Stadium) on November 3rd and 4th and Kaohsiung (Chengcing Lake Stadium) on November 5th and 6th. Roberts will join the likes of Curtis Granderson, Miguel Cabrera, Robinson Cano, Pablo Sandoval and many, many more. It marks the second straight year MLB has sent a team to Taiwan after the Dodgers played some games there last spring.↵
Although Roberts is the only D-back on the roster at the moment, there still are a few slots to be filled out.
