Arizona Cardinals Safety Adrian Wilson Signs New Four-Year Deal

According to a tweet from XTRA 910's Mike Jurecki, Arizona Cardinals Pro Bowl safety Adrian Wilson has signed a new contract extension with the team. The deal is said to be a new four-year deal through 2015. Wilson's original deal had only two years remaining.

The 32-year-old is a proven staple of the Cardinals franchise and the Cardinals are rewarding him for that. Wilson may as well be the Larry Fitzgerald of the defensive side of the ball. With the team since 2001, Wilson is a five-time Pro-Bowl selection including each of the last four seasons. He was named an All-Pro three times (2006, 2008, 2009) and was a member of the Cardinals' 2008 NFC Championship team.

In 12 years with the team, Wilson has recorded 840 tackles, 22.5 sacks and 26 interceptions.
