2012 NFL Supplemental Draft Takes Place In Ten Days

For those of you who want to think about The 2012 NFL Supplemental Draft, here's your chance!

For the past 35 years, the NFL has put together a Supplemental Draft to give players the chance who did not enter the regular draft to get a chance at turning pro. Those players who enter the Supplementary Draft have usually missed the filing deadline for the NFL Draft or had eligibility problems because of academic or disciplinary issues in college.

Gregg Rosenthal of NFL.com has good information on the players available.

The following players are eligible to be drafted: Boise State DB Quaylon Ewing, Baylor WR Josh Gordon, Syracuse RB Adam Harris, Iowa State T Adrian Haughton, Carson-Newman LB Larry Lumpkin, Georgia DE Montez Robinson, McMurray WR Houston Tuminello and TCU RB Ed Wesley. No other players are eligible to apply for the draft.

The Cardinals have a good shot at being able to make a pick, although with only eight players in the running it might depend on how many teams ahead of them want to take one of these guys.
