Arizona Cardinals Re-sign Veteran LB Clark Haggans

As the Arizona Cardinals are in their final week of OTAs, the have made a roster move that has long been expected. They have re-signed veteran linebacker Clark Haggans and released undrafted free agent Broderick Binns to make room for him on the roster.

Haggans started all 16 games for the Cardinals a year ago and had three sacks, 54 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

He is expected to be returning in a reserve role, likely backing up third-year player O'Brien Schofield.

This will be Haggan's fifth season with Arizona. He was also a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers when Ken Whisenhunt was coaching there.

With the signing, it more or less cements the OLB rotation. They now have Sam Acho, Schofield, Haggans and Quentin Groves, plus Stewart Bradley who can play both inside and outside.
