Arizona Cardinals Offseason Dates Announced

The Arizona Cardinals are heading into the meat of their offseason. Here's what happening with this team the next few weeks, according to the reports from Darren Urban from the team website:

April 16: Strength and conditioning begins for the team players.

April 26-28: The NFL Draft takes place in New York City. The Cardinals have the 13th pick in the first round.

May 11-13: Mini-camp for the new rookies taken in the NFL Draft takes place, with five practices taking place over three days.

May 14: Cardinals Charities Golf Tournament at Whirlwind Golf Club

May 22-24, May 29-31, June 4-7: Voluntary organized team activities with veterans and rookies. These are where the OTAs take place, which are generally voluntary but helpful to new players.

June 12-14: Mini-camp for veterans and rookies begins. Five practices over three days and is probably mandatory.

June 24-27: NFL Rookie Symposium takes place.
