Arizona Cardinals Alumni Roger Wehrli To Announce 3rd Round Draft Pick

During the later rounds of the 2012 Draft, the NFL invites former alumni (usually pretty prominent ones) back to announce draft picks for their former teams.

The Cardinals chose Roger Wehrli to announce their second pick in the draft in the third round, which is the 80th overall pick. After the jump, find out more about how important Wehlri is to Cardinals fans.

Wehrli was the Cardinals first-round choice in the 1969 NFL Draft from the Missouri Tigers, and he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007. He appeared in 193 games while amassing 40 career interceptions and a franchise record-tying 19 fumble recoveries. He was selected to seven Pro Bowls and was named All-Pro five times.
