According to a report from the Denver Post, recently released quarterback Peyton Manning will begin his free agency search with the Denver Broncos, scheduling a meeting with them on Friday, but it also said to be meeting with both the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins as well, likely feeling out what kind of possibilities await him in this second chapter of his professional career.
Manning, 36, has been cleared to throw by his neck specialist, Dr. Robert Watkins. Another source close to the situation noted that Manning doesn't want to draw this out and would like to have a decision made by Tuesday, the first official day of free agency. I would want to get in with a team and get back to work as soon as possible if I were Peyton, ensuring that you can continue rehab with team doctors and get ready with your new franchise.
The circus seems to be starting, but may only be in town for a short while.
