NFL Mock Draft 2012: SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber Has The Cardinals Taking Iowa OT Riley Reiff

On offense, something that seems to be a trend that kind of works is keeping your quarterback upright. Seems that it's been proven to be easier to throw from your feet instead of from the ground. Maybe folks are onto something. So in that case, the Arizona Cardinals taking Iowa offensive tackle Riley Reiff with the no. 13 pick in SB Nation's Ryan Van Bibber's latest mock draft makes perfect sense.

The Cardinals missed out on the Peyton Manning sweepstakes and revert their attention back to last year's pricey investment, Kevin Kolb. Re-signing Levi Brown and not allowing him to leave via free agency was the first step and Reiff could be the second. Having both on board would give the Cardinals plenty of flexibility at the tackle spot and provide the needed protection for Kolb to try to bounce back this season and utilize the weapons at his disposal like the incomparable Larry Fitzgerald. It isn't the only need for the Cardinals though, so this pick could go elsewhere. Stay tuned.
