NFL Free Agency: Arizona Cardinals Have Interest In Pair Of Receivers

The free agency period has been a quiet one thus far for the Arizona Cardinals, but it has been learned that the team has interest in two wide receivers. Among the target goals for this offseason, the Cards want to improve the offensive line, get help for Larry Fitzgerald at receiver and add depth at positions on defense.

The two receivers that right now have the Cardinals' attention are Laurent Robinson, who played last season with the Dallas Cowboys and Chaz Schillens, who last played for the Oakland Raiders.

Robinson had the best season of his career in 2011. He started only four games, but hauled in 54 receptions for 858 yards and 11 touchdowns. He filled in very nicely for Miles Austin when he was injured.

Schillens is a local player, who went to Highland High School. He caught 23 passes in 2011 for 271 yards and two scores.

Schillens was at the Cardinals facility on Tuesday and also has visits planned with the San Francisco 49ers and the New York Jets.

Robinson is also drawing attention from the Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars.
